Rules

How ranking works

• New bids must be in whole US dollars. The minimum bid is $1.
• A higher bid ranks above a lower bid.
• If two listings have the same bid, the older bid gets the higher rank.
• To move above another listing, your bid must be higher than its current bid.
• You can raise your own listing at any time. Your new bid must be at least $1 higher than your current bid.
• When raising your own listing, you pay only the difference between your new bid and your current bid.
• A listing becomes active only after its payment has been successfully completed.

What you can list

You can list:

• A product or startup website
• An X profile
• An Instagram profile
• A LinkedIn profile
• A YouTube channel
• Other public product, creator, or business profiles that fit the board

What is not allowed

The following are not allowed:

• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, malicious, or harmful websites
• Porn, NSFW, or adult content
• Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, or similar private/group invite links
• Affiliate, referral, or tracking URLs
• URL shorteners
• Links designed primarily to redirect users through another website
• Spam or listings created primarily to manipulate the leaderboard
• Malicious URLs, phishing pages, malware, or other harmful content

Tracking and query parameters may be removed from submitted URLs.

We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing that violates these rules or that we believe is harmful, misleading, or inappropriate for the board.

Categories

Each listing is placed into the category that best matches its product, website, or profile.

We may change a listing's category when necessary.

For-sale listings

You may optionally mark your listing as For Sale and provide an asking price.

• The asking price does not affect your leaderboard position.
• SpotYourBid does not broker, verify, or guarantee any sale.
• Interested buyers contact the seller directly through the contact information provided by the seller.
• SpotYourBid is not responsible for negotiations, transactions, valuations, or disputes between buyers and sellers.

After you pay

• Your listing becomes public after the payment is successfully completed.
• Clicking your listing takes visitors directly to the destination you submitted.
• Your bid, rank, clicks, and listing information may be publicly visible.
• Payments are generally non-refundable once a listing has been activated, except where required by applicable law or at our discretion.
• Removing a listing for violating these rules does not automatically guarantee a refund.
